Over the last 18 months I have focussed on the Silver Series, it has been an amazing journey and one that will continue for sometime yet. What i have found is that immersing myself in a new book as soon as have finished the previous one can leave me feeling emeshed and drained.
So when i finished writing Taming the Warrior i wanted to take a little time out from The Silver Wolf Pack, i had been toying with an idea for sometime and decided to give it a whirl. The result is Emma's Education and follows a budding journalist chasing the story and receiving more than she bargained for. This book was challenging in that it took me out of my confort zone, however it was also lots of fun to write and read.
Please see the specific page for more information on this book.

Back to blogging
Hi everyone i hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I have over the festive season been neglecting my blogg, primarly because my parents came to stay with me over Christmas. However i am now back, writing the 5th in the Silver Series.
About 2 weeks ago i pulished the man behind the vampire, and both the sales and feedback has been positive. My plan for this year involves me writing the next 4 books in the Silver Series. Book 5 focuses on Vlad life and loves so keep checking for its release date.

Solomon Seal

Telling a tale of bullying and the impact of this give's a strong message to the readers, this is captured incredibly well by the author. The characters were likeable (except for the bullies), Sol made me empathise with his plight and Edward amused me.
I would have liked to have spent more time in the world the boys discover and I really wanted Sol to overcome his bullies, as the series is called the Darkly Chronicles maybe that is coming next.
At times I thought the writing style may have been too complex for the audience the book is aimed at, however an enjoyable read.
I would rate this book 4/5

A unique and intriguing twist on the escape theme; looking at different prisons across England really lends a realistic element that helps this book stand out. The recon detail seems so realistic; you can’t help but wonder if the authorities have looked into these seemingly obvious escape plans.
The downside to this novel is the lack of emotional ties between characters. The whole situation comes from the need to be reunited with wives, yet they then proceed to show little understanding of what real love is. There are also some slight inconsistencies.
This book would be one I would recommend for anyone who is interested in crime genre novels and would rate it a 3/5.
Where to start, this book was for me conflicting, throughout I wanted to see more of the main characters, their thoughts and feelings, I wanted to be drawn into his story just a little more. I had to remind myself that this is a crime novel, and one I really enjoyed. The story was interesting and informative; I enjoyed getting to know the characters and understood the story line. The twists in the story were captivating and kept me trying to answer that age old question, 'who done it", I did work it out, but not until I was three quarters of the way forward. I would read more in this serious as i did enjoy this, if I had to offer constructive criticism it would be for the author to add more depth to the characters.
Therefore I would rate this a 4/5.
